Our Commitment
Felix O’Hare & Co Ltd is fully committed to the deployment of Building Information Modelling (BIM) on future projects. We have already embarked on several builds using BIM principles, whilst also identifying suitable projects for BIM technologies which assist our customers to realise their own aspirations. On projects where BIM is implemented, we work closely with the entire team to ensure that the benefits are achieved and all the lessons learned are used to drive improvement across the whole company.
Felix O’Hare & Co Ltd believes that real value can be delivered on a project when the information has been developed within a collaborative and data rich environment. We continuously challenge design and ongoing lifecycle of an asset which results in significant savings to time and budget.
BIM is a collaborative way of working, underpinned by digital technologies, which unlock more effective methods of designing, constructing and maintaining both building and infrastructure assets. BIM provides greater transparency and collaboration between suppliers, thereby reducing waste (procurement, process and materials) through all levels of the supply chain.
This commitment is aimed at achieving:

- The development of a market leading BIM capability with the skills , experience and capacity
- Improved outcomes for all project stakeholders
- Partnering with government to further the implementation of BIM across the construction industry, its supply chain and its customers
Felix O’Hare & Co Ltd are committed towards lean design and construction from the conception of the brief through to the completion, handover and in use life cycle of the realised project. As a result we aim to maximise production efficiency through adopting a coordinated and consistent approach to working in a Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment.
Our Approach
Our company directors are responsible for taking measures to help staff act in compliance with our BIM policy and remain at the forefront of developments in BIM utilisation. It is the responsibility of our head of digital construction in a collaborated effort with our contracts director and our BIM implementation coordinator to review, maintain and lead implementation of digital construction throughout Felix O’Hare & Co Ltd. All staff are required to comply with the BIM policy requirements and share responsibility in implementing it.
Felix O’Hare & Co Ltd’s investment in technology and training is significant, which is improving our awareness and knowledge. This investment allows us to offer our expertise and support to guide customers, designers, supply chain partners and other stakeholders with their BIM journey.
